OSHA's New Directive
This directive (manual) establishes OSHA's enforcement policy for its
standard for Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals,
29 CFR § 1910.119 ("PSM standard"), and references to it in 29 CFR §
1926.64 and 29 CFR § 1910.109. It instructs OSHA enforcement personnel
on the agency's interpretations of those standards.
